The leading mobile commerce player NXT-ID Inc (NASDAQ:NXTD) and WorldVentures launched the DreamTrips Smart Card at company’s annual conference event in Orlando. As per the reports, over 22,000 members were present at the conference to attend the launch event.
Insights of The Matter
Not long ago, NXT-ID had announced a strategic alliance with WorldVentures to develop wireless smart cards based on its flagship technology – Wocket smart wallet technology. The management teams of both the companies were delighted to witness such huge audience and hoped that this new product launch will help them to keep up with users’ expectations.
During the conference, WorldVentures unveiled the smart card that was originally developed by NXT-ID team and customized with wireless features as well as additional technologies. As of now there are over 500,000 DreamTrips Members, and more than 80,000 new members are joining in every month. Post this launch, NCT-ID and WorldVentures hope this number to touch newer heights.
The primary objective of WorldVentures is to make this card available to all the existing members and offer a member kit to all the new members without any delay. During the launch ceremony, WorldVentures demonstrated how the new DreamTrips Smart Card had the potential to replace all the cards in users’ pocket similar to Wocket card and make the travel experience easy and hassle-free.
According to David Tunnell, CTO & EVP, NXT-ID, the launch ceremony was beyond compare. He further added that the experience of demonstrating a world-class product in front of tens of thousands of people was hard to describe in the words. Tunnell was invited on the stage to speak about the product and the event ceremony.
It’s not the first time when NXT-ID has collaborated with any external party to develop such a technology. Based on the overall results of this association, both the companies will look forward to working on additional projects in the future to uplift the travel experience of users.
